Designers, developers and users of WordPress can find a home in this group. We’re colleagues, a community, a resource. Small business owners, bloggers, artists, designers, educators, publications and developers frequent our meetups.
WordPress Austin has grown over the years from a small informal group meeting at Halcyon coffee house to a more formal interest group meeting at Austin’s Conjunctured to our current incarnation meeting at Cospace and having multiple interest areas.
We recently segmented our group to better address different user levels. On our regular meeting nights, we touch on both beginning and more advanced topics. We’ve created a second, “Hands On” group for beginners/intermediate users who aren’t as interested in code or under the hood aspects of WordPress. We’re also in the progress of starting up a development interest group which would meet at a different time.
WordPress Austin meets on the first Tuesday on the month, at 7pm at Cospace; the Hands-On WordPress group meets the third Tuesday, same time and location.
