From the time you start building your first WordPress site, beginners hear about the importance of “SEO”
In the past two WP Beginners classes Rich Plakas has discussed how WordPress site design effect SEO, and how to track inbound traffic with Google Analytics. Based on your requests at last month’s class, Rich agreeded to discuss the fundamental strategies that make your websites search engine–friendly. He reviewed how your clients and visitors interact with Search Engines and how site usability, user experience, and content organization can affect your site’s SEO rankings. Rich explained what exactly SEO is and is not, understand the technical and creative elements required to improve rankings, drive traffic, and increase awareness in search engines.
Rich delivered a superbly prepared presentation. He carefully guided those new to WordPress to a clear understanding of what SEO is, how to achieve ranking by following the rules, and why it is important to every site owner. the WPATX is a healthy and growing community because Dev’s like Rich share their time and experience through our meetups.
