Nick and Sandi Batik have at last been able to reschedule their Hands-On Word Press classes that were canceled when Posh Co-Working Lounge closed. We have a new training venue for 2015 training schedule.  All classes will be taught at HubAustin Co-Working, 706 W Ben White Blvd, Building B, Suite 230B, Austin, Texas 78704. Adding eCommerce to a site is more that just choosing and installing an eCommerce plugin. Your instructor, Toyin Akinmusuru is an experienced WordPress Developer and an eCommerce expert.  He will discuss how your business model type — selling a physical product vs a digital product, affects how you define your requirements and the structure of your eCommerce site. It will also influence the configuration of your eCommerce Plugin and extentions. We have a new training venue for 2013 training schedule. All classes will be taught at the Posh Co-Working Lounge, 3027 N. Lamar Blvd, Suite # 202, Austin TX, ‪78705.  We are happy to announce that the Hands On Word Press Fundamentals and the much-awaited, Hands On WordPress Intermediate courses have been scheduled and start in just a few weeks.

WordPress Classes at CoSpace

Over the summer many of you have asked if Nick and I will be presenting WordPress classes again this fall. This year, in cooperation with the CoSpace Learning Network, we have developed an in-depth WordPress training curricula.

Cospace will be offering the Cospace 3-month WordPress course plan designed to familiarize you with WordPress and how to get the most out of your site.
The Curricula has been divided into two courses: Fundamentals and Advanced.

These courses will be presented in a series of classes every Thursday, 7:30-9:30 pm, at Cospace N. Austin

The WordPress Fundamentals course has been designed to take participants from WordPress newbie to a confident user who understands the right way to install, administer, and customize a WordPress website for business or personal use.

The WordPress Advanced Course will give participants a strong grounding in the three majors areas of WordPress specialization – Theme Design, Site Development, and Content Management. Upon completion of this course participants should feel confident in customizing their own website, as well as marketing their skills in WordPress website design and development.
•    September 6th: Introduction to WordPress – A free 2 hour class
•    September 20th – October 11th: WordPress Fundamentals
•    October 18th – December 13th: WordPress Advanced
•    December 15th : Workshop – Build your site with the Cospace Network in our half day workshop
